Hiii Jellyfish 🪼 I am back with another post ✨
About one week ago, we were assigned to create an infographic about one of these topics: plagirism, copyright and fair use, safety and privacy, netiquette, and cyberbullying. As soon as I learned the topics, I felt like "cyberbullying is the best." Oh, I mean as a topic for an infographic, not in real life 😅 I guess now you are wondering why I chose this topic. Well, the reason is that i was bullied when i was in elementary school. It was not cyberbullying, but still, any kind of bullying is not good at all. I know that there are students who try to handle with bullying. Therefore I want to draw attention to that topic.

Since i used to edit thumbnails of my Youtube videos, I know how to use Canva. It is pretty simple and fun to use Canva. Moreover, there are so many features you can use without having a premium account. I had lots of fun while creating my infographic on Canva. To be honest, creating infographic is my most enjoyable homework in my university life 😅 First of all, I checked some infographics about different topics, they were a lot. I tried to have an idea before I started creating mine. However, I couldn't find any good infographic about cyberbullying. They were not bad but i wasn't fascinated by any of them. So I tried my best to make it look good 🤧 So, here is my infographic about cyberbullying

Me and my friends have always been like infographics as students and teacher candidates. Because, I think infographics understand students somehow. Therefore, students make use of them a lot while studying. Let me share some general benefits of infographics with you:
- Visual learners can understand topics better. There are so many photos and pictures in infographics, and visual learners love them. Therefore, it makes everything easier for visual learners to understand.
- Infographics sum up the topic in general; therefore, students don't feel overwhelmed when they study. For example, most of the students find math scary and boring, so they don't want to study it. However infographics makes even math fun and enjoyable to study with the help of photos, colorful texts, and big sized numbers in them.
- The photos and pictures used make the topic easier and more fun. As I mentioned above, there are photos and pictues in infographics, and students like them. Even when they don't understand the topic, the photos can help them understand the topic or recall the information they've learned.
- In English classrooms, teachers can use infographics to teach grammar. For example, they can use a timeline infographic to show the tenses on one page. Inphographics can also be used for teaching vocabulary, they will make vocabulary easy to memorise.
Are there any other kind of benefits of infographics in language classrooms?
Do you like infographics or have you ever created one?
Don't forget to share your opinions in the comment section.
Take care, love you Jellyfish ❤️🪼
