Hi Jellyfish 🪼🩵
Do you like listening to podcast? I hope you like them 😅 Because I've created a podcast for you to listen ✨ Actually not just me. I worked with Sümeyya AtaÅŸ for the podcast. Don't forget to check her blog, too 🌻 This podcast is "a sound rich story" and it is around 90 seconds. To be more specific, the tittle of the podcast is "The Cat" 😸 Even though the tittle sounds cute, it is a horror story. There is a girl called Lisa. One day when she was returning back to her home on a rainy day, she ran over her neighbour's cat by accident. However, her neighbour John was not a normal person. John became really angry at Lisa and he... Oops, I was so close to give spoiler 😅 If you wonder what happened in the story don't hesitate to click here.
Now, I want to talk about the process. To be honest, I was so excited at first because I like listening to podcasts alot and finally I will be the one who will create one. However, it was sooo hard than I expected 🤧 When me and Sümeyya were recording our voices, we needed to act aswell. She was so good at it ❤️but i couldn't focus on acting at first. I kept laughing when I was trying to act 😿 But after some time, I handled with it. While finding appropriate sound for the podcast was so fun, trying to put the sound in the podcast was hard. Even though I faced some difficulties during the process, I would like to admit that it was a fun activity.
At first, I thought that podcast is not a good idea for English Language classrooms, because even we faced difficult problems. I cannot imagine children trying to deal with that problems. However, our students are born into technology. It means they know what to do when they face a problem. "A big deal" for us, is not a big deal for them. Even though they face problems during the podcast process, it will help them to improve their technological skills. To sum up, yes podcasting is definetely a good idea for students in English classrooms.Do you think podcast is a good idea for English classrooms?
Have you ever created a podcast?
Thank you for reading that much 🩵
See you next time Jellyfish 🪼🩵
